Raj has a wealth of experience from being a Regional Industrial Excellence Champion for the Asia-Pacific Region for Nexans (a global leader in the cable manufacturing industry with approximately 96 manufacturing facilities worldwide). Part of the team of Champions to launch Nexans Excellence Way, through the development of Training Modules, validating initiatives in pilot plants prior to global deployment. Responsible for supporting 3 plants in Korea, 3 plants in China, 2 plants in Australia,1 plant in New Zealand, and 1 plant in Japan.
Also served as a Manufacturing General Manager for Autoliv Hirotako in Malaysia. Trained at the Autoliv Academy for Autoliv Production System in France, Sweden and the United Sates. Successful in developing the plant as a ‘benchmark’ for Toyota Malaysia, and provided support to members of the Toyota Supplier’s Club.
Was also the Plant Operations Manager for Cabot Corporation for their Port Dickson Plant in Malaysia, as well as Factory Manager (Making) for British American Tobacco.
